E 'was published today in the public notice for the financing of experimental projects for the realization of social gardens.
The measure aims to promote the implementation of pilot projects of "vegetable industry", associated with the common territories, in partnership with third sector, highlighting some significant experiences of social inclusion and small-scale farming. The "social kitchen gardens" are a fundamental element of social inclusion of disadvantaged people and ecological education and the environment by establishing, among others, school space for use as teaching gardens, spaces within the detention facilities, spaces in areas of former mental hospitals.

The Campania Region with the adoption of the DGR 1658 of 30.10.2009 is has set the following objectives:
- ensuring the implementation of integrated policies aimed at social inclusion of disadvantaged groups through the experimentation of innovative projects;
- promoting the creation of an experimental "social market gardens of the city" in the municipalities, in areas associated with spatial (Article 19, Law No 11/2007) which, in collaboration with the private social organizations, are willing to participate in the trial;
- target certain areas of public property to the cultivation of vegetables, herbs, flowers, purpose of consumption, so as to stimulate the activity ortocolturale in urban areas, in order to enhance the social connotations, cultural and environmental
- to achieve urban regeneration through action on social inclusion, and entrusted the restoration of degraded areas in fallow or vulnerable or at risk of social exclusion;
- to create a regional network of city gardens in a position to ensure the inclusion social disadvantaged through self production of plant varieties, food and environmental education, development of the practice of barter between the conductors, the recovery of traditional crops, development of organic farming, promotion of new forms of social, technical training in horticulture all'ortoterapia biological, psychosocial rehabilitation, physical and motor.
